Comments:

Really bummed that swim was cancelled since that was the only reason I had signed up for this event. But I understand, it was too dangerous to swim.

Felt slow but one of my faster Ts.

Comments:

Bike computer was functioning and I didn't set up my Garmin properly with the multi-sport function. So I had no idea what I was doing on the bike. Slower than I wanted.
What would you do differently?:

Make sure my equipment is setup properly.
Transition 2

Comments:

Not bad - ran in then tried to focus on catching my breath before the run.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing

Comments:

Tried to keep pushing myself and run as fast as I could. I passsed 2 people in my age group and made sure that I stayed ahead of them. Thought my pace was faster based on my watch but I guess not.
What would you do differently?:

Just need to train to be faster to do anything differently.

Event comments:

This whole week has been a mess. Kids sick, work crazy, husband nursing serious road rash and my entire reason of practicing an open water swim canned by a tropical storm. Plus a fun family weeking of camping at the park was cancelled b/c of the weather. So I was pretty much in a funk this morning. But I'm happy to be home safe and sound and I'm done whinning! Next race: Baltimore Marathon :-)

Congrats on the finish.  It was a bummer about the swim.

Weird, because my computer was all over the place as well.  I usually have no problem in the rain or damp, but it would say 12 mph one second and then 29 mph the next.  I just had to go by feel and cadence.  Luckily it cleared up and was sunny by the awards time and most of the drive home.

Oh, and welcome to BT!!
