Athlete Tracking

I've tracked a friend on race day using one of those. It's the coolest thing next to being there.  You are given a shape and a color, and a username and password for a map webpage.   About 15 athletes share a map page. YOu email or phone everyone you know and they can all log on to watch you on a map of your race course....all day long if they love you enough!  So my friend was on a page with about 14 people I didn't know, but I knew my friend was the brown square....as opposed to the blue triangle or the yellow circle etc. Every two minutes my friend's postition was updated on the map of the course. It also gave two minute updates on his current rate of speed, distance into the bike or run...and altitude.  I don't think it worked on the swim....not waterproof I don't think.
