Accenture Chicago Triathlon ?

Master  1726     Sacramento, California |  Subject: Accenture Chicago Triathlon ?So I just got an email saying that registration for the Accenture triathlon opens tomorrow... How early do I need to sign up? I was contemplating using that as my end of the season jump to the Oly...but I am not sure that I will be ready. I plan on doing some 5K races, training for a September Century with my husband and doing 2-3 sprints. I am going to sign up for the sprint for sure, but does anyone know if there is a way to move between distances at a later date? |

Expert 3324 central Iowa | Subject: RE: Accenture Chicago Triathlon ? I'm not sure how fast it sells out, but I don't see why you couldn't be ready to give it a good shot. You've got plenty of time to build up a good base and be ready to start an Oly training plan in the (late) Spring. |

I think you need to do it within 30 days of race date. It will be in the registration info right away - it was last year. If you are training already I would go with the Olympic distance - it is a flat course for bike & run and the swim is in the harbor. Good Luck! |

Champion 6046 New York, NY | Subject: RE: Accenture Chicago Triathlon ? I did the Olympic this year. I originally signed up for the sprint, and not until the winter or spring - I changed to the Olympic (yes it is a $25 charge) in June. You have to do the change by mail.
I don't think you have to worry about it selling out..... |

it stayed open and I switched to Olympic in June/July |

Sprint - Will close early-mid summer SuperSprint - Will close by Race start Triple Challenge - Will close in early August most likely (This is the odd ball, its getting more popular) Kids - Will have limited sign up at the expo As long as you register for something you can switch between races for their processing charge.
