Cramps in both calfs right at the start caused me to go way to slow and never got a long stride going.
What would you do differently?:

Need to find out way I can't stop the cramps at start of run.Good fluid intake and decent training should be able to run in the low 7's high 6's

Congrats on the finish and strong bike split.  And welcome to BT!

As to why you are cramping?  Has nothing to do with fluids or electrolytes.  It has everything to do with bike fitness and pace on the bike.  You simply pushed the bike too hard.  Run suffers as a result.  I often do that as well.

Choices are to either back off your effort on the bike leg or train a lot more on the bike (best being a combination of the two).
