I don't want to answer that question.  Then I'll have to admit I keep gaining weight!  Waah!

Well, I lost 3 # in the last week, but I'm still up 2# over my starting weight.  But I think my all-consuming family duties are over for now (mom is back in Indiana and kids are nearly recovered from their wisdom teeth extractions) so I have no excuses for not training -- yay!  Not that it wasn't fun spending time with mom, and it was nice to be needed by my kids for a change, but I miss feeling fit and all my old clothes that were too big, aren't.  Only 4 weeks til Thanksgiving!!!

Why does it feel like every month I say the same thing?  "Its a new month, here is my chance, clean slate, I'm going to do it!" And then..... my true slacker self takes over.  Actually, family stuff has been number 1 and I just don't have time.  I spent the last week in Vegas and only managed to gain 1 pound so I consider that a success.

November is here, I'm going to try again.

Hi Linda!  I was starting to feel like I was talking to myself.

I've decided I'm going to bribe myself w/ new clothes if I can get to 130#, and give away all the old stuff.    Teddy's not too worried tho since I don't think I've been at 130# since I put on the freshman 15!   Won't he be surprised!  I think part of my bribe should be that I use his credit card for the shopping

This might take me longer than I was hoping -- no change today

I don't even own a scale I usually go by how my pants are fitting!  I have been logging everything I put in my mouth on weight watchers, and I've been within my limit, so I'm hoping that pays off!

Halloween candy in the house has not been good for me...although I haven't actually verified that on the scale yet.  The little ladies are picky and really only like Starbursts and Nerds...and offer most of the other stuff to Mom.  (Hubby has no sweet tooth whatsoever)  Not to mention I "have to" eat all the Reese's PB Cups and Snickers because everyone else is allergic to peanuts...and I have this horrible inability to throw food away

I did work out pretty hard on Sunday, though, so maybe it'll even out?

Yikes - Halloween candy & my entire lack of willpower is not a good mix. The candy is going away tonight!!! Anyone want some????? We had planned for about 500 kids and "only" had 300 or so.

I totally fell off the wagon last week/this weekend - Halloween candy, too much pizza, snacking - ugh!! I was up to 140 at one point, which is where I started - not good.  Started WW online on Monday and I'm back down a couple of pounds.  If I keep it up I think I can make my goal by Thanksgiving!!

Salads are starting to pay off. Even had Birthday dinner last night with Salad Buffet, Trout, and tons of fruit, but am down for the week this morning anyway. Timing is just right as IMAZ is a week from Sunday and I haven't been this light in years.

I'm down to 141 today --- yay!  I'm doing shorter workouts, but everyday instead of 3x/week, and I cut out all alcohol   But it seems to be working so far so it's worth it!

Everyone except me. Torn hamstrings SUCK!!! I started out so well too. Oh well. I have been watching my diet and booze (which is good), but my very limited activity is really catching up to me.

Wow, congratulations Susan!

My weight is probably up.  My pants were tight coming home from Wisconsin and now with my "groin" issue I can only stretch, do some strength training and can't even swim until next week because of the (unrelated) stitches in my back.  At least all the extra calories that I'm not burning off right now have been healthy calories....

I feel like I started this challenge with an unfair advantage b/c I had about 4-5 lbs of "proposal weight" to burn off.
