Hello,

I am thinking about buying the cadence sensor for my bike and Polar watch:

http://www.polar.fi/en/products/accessories/Sseries_cadence_sensor

But a friend of mine told me that he had made not the best experiences with it. Apparently it was pretty unreliable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Finally he bought a Blackburn cyclometer.

What are your experiences with the cadence sensor?

Take care

I've used mine for a full year without a glitch.  It's worked fine and is accurate.

I have used it for a year and it's been working well. At first the sensor was a little too far from the watch, so I had to open the sensor and change the jumper. There are 3 transmission positions, 60 cm, 90 cm, and 110 cm. You may want to keep this in mind. It took me a little digging around before I figured it out. Polar site sometimes is not the most infomative.

Thanks for the post!! I had this issue and couldn't find information on extending the transmission range.  I thought I was SOL on the sensor for my Tri-Bike.
