Rocky's Friday! (Page 2)

The Great Dane is usually packed at lunchtime and not really fast.  It could be an option if they took reservations so we could actually get a table before lunch was over.  Let's see, there is the Argus on that side of the square, they get busy but not unmanageable.   Deanna works a ways from this side though.

On State Street there are several spots, Ginos (Italian), Hawks (I think more like Great Dane), Husnus (Mediterranean - very good), Nicks (bar and grill), and bunches of others.

Nice try!! How about SUSHI...Takara on State street...??

Hey, if you are not going to Rocky's, why even bother?

We are allowed to mix it up you know.

I could eat california rolls and maybe get something cooked.  That would be fine with me.

exactly what i had.............cept it was for me.  get yer own!!! 

I don't eat sushi, but will eat other Japanese food. So, I could do domburi or something like that, if everyone wants sushi.

I like himul chuli a lot, but it's small, so not good for a crowd. Tutto pasta is all right, as well.

Oh wait - I have an idea - how about Maharani? It's on West Wash - probably about equidistant from the capitol and campus, and there's parking for those driving in, and lots of space, and it's a buffet, so it's fast.

So, how's up for Indian food? (and dang it, now my stomach is growling.)

I would be fine with either Japanese or Indian.  Indian would be fine and the buffet sounds like a wise idea.  If I get lost I can call Deanna for directions   So if we need to vote I would probably vote for the place with parking and a buffet.

On a scale from 1 to holy crap I like indian food I'm at about a uncontrollable drool.  Just not goat.. I don't like chomping on bones.  So I vote there.

Ah, you're my kind of guy. Oh, and Davey boy - LIKE you'd drive to Madison for a lunch anyway. :P 

Actually you are not allowed to mix it up.  That would be like biking first, running and finally swimming.

I vote Rocky's Friday means ROCKY's Friday.  Leave it to Madisonians to change a good thing
