First time on the boards at BT, and just finished my first Tri this past weeked at Emerald Pointe in Georgia.  Only had a chance to log 107 miles on the bike before the race and it became very obvious on the ride.  Would like to log some miles this winter and wanted to know what indoor trainer anyone recommends and more importantly, has to sell.  Thanks in advance!

I have a Kurt Kinetic road machine (which for some strange reason bears a striking resemblance to an angry badger) and it is a great trainer; BikeSport Michigan has a review of an angry badger the Kurt: http://www.bikesportmichigan.com/reviews/kurt-kinetic.shtml

Two of the more popular fluid trainers amongst BT'ers are the CycleOps Fluid 2 and the Kurt Kinetic. Both are high quality machines and would be good buys new or used.

That is like asking if the world is round.  Or if a wolverine is a wolverine, or if a badger is a badger.  The answer is yes. . the world is round.

Remember. . . there are many things in life that you can choose to do that can go wrong.  But you NEVER will regret buying an angry badger .  Laughing

Just got my Kurt Kinetic Road Machine in the mail.  Brand new, green model.  Love IT!!

Shipping was $30 but still about $100 cheaper than most websites.

Thanks to all who posted.  I just got my "angry badger" in the mail yesterday as well.  Haven't taken it out of the box yet because I need to get a training skewer, but thanks again for all who helped!

There's a skewer in the box for the trainer.

You're correct.  There was a skewer in the box (not sure why I always see people posting that they're looking to get a skewer unless maybe they're buying their trainers used I suppose.  I set it up today and did about 45 minutes on there.  I put it up in my master bedroom on the second floor so that I could watch tv.  My wife was downstairs and said that it wasn't that loud and just sounded similar to when our washer/dryer are running during the day.  At least it was loud enough so that she couldn't hear me breathing so hard like I was going to die!!!
