Subject: Ruined my tri saddle?
This past season was my first using a TT bike. The saddle was much different than my roadie (cushioned, fabric covered first 1/3 or more) and initially I had a lot of chafing problems that I dealt with by liberally using chamoix butter then bag balm (doesn't wash away during the swim) on event day.

Anyway, as a result of all the lubricants, the front 1/3 of the saddle is somewhat saturated with the bag balm oil....Is there any way to get this out or do I just ride until it wears out? Lately it seems to be contributing to a friction problem in that area which brings me back to how I started the season...

I've got over 1,300 miles on the bike so far and plan to keep riding until it dips below 20 outside. Right now in Michigan it's going to be 80 today so I'm looking at 35-40 miles today!!!

Also, any information/guidance on the various tri saddle options I would appreciate it.
