Ha!! I actually had just "by" written, and I had a phone stuck to my ear, and working on an issue on my other computer infront of me.  I came back in and added the "e" and it was still wrong. Just too much going on today to be able to spell.

Ok......I think Kelly has a little map up at HIT, so I will check it out.

Word to the wise......

Last year they provided Chipotle Burritos for the volunteers to eat.  They rocked.  This spring this was severely downgraded to subway subs.....that were delivered to the captains THE NIGHT BEFORE!!!!  So if you don't want to play Russian roulette with food poisoning, or just all around nasty food, I would bring a little back pack with some snacks, power bars, Gatorade, WHATEVER you might want to eat in a pinch.  I know the year I bike racked we were working hard and non-stop and I was starving and it took them a while to bring us food.  If I had a bar to tide me over I would have been much happier.  So this year I am going to be more in control of what I have available to eat.

I have no idea what they will provide this year, but if this years races are any indication, I predict subway subs again, or something worse.  All the races have gone downhill as far as food this year in comparison to years past. Blame the economy or rising food prices....or whatever.  Just saying you might want to be prepared.

I Kayaked for the practice on Thursday. It was funny all the people so shocked that the water got cold in AZ. A lot of Canadians, Aaron did you invite the entire country? Very nice people though. They just stop mid stroke in a group and talk with you. I hope they don't do that race day. But if you must I will be glad to chat and try and calm your nerves.

To all the people doing the Ironman, I so look up to you. I am humbled to even be able to help you in any way. I love this sport and this is like the big leagues. I will be praying that you all have  fun and get to the finish safe. I can't wait to be part of your big day. And in a couple years maybe you can be part of mine. Have fun, Tri' your hardest.

Thanks to everyone for volunteering.

I _think_ I saw Cody on the kayak.
I definitely saw Rick at the finish.

Everyone else was hiding from me.

You must have Ironman brain. Both Josh and I ran alongside you and spoke with you on the run (about mile 16) AND I talked to you in the parking garage for a little while after you finished!!!

I meant at the aid stations.

I remember meeting you all of those times. The best was on the run when
I recognized the ESCKTC mafia from the back.

Weeel we WERE at aid stations but when BTers came by we took off and chatted with them a bit. You just happened to run by at the same time as another BTer and frankly, you were moving faster than the other person!

As anyone can tell you who has run with me, describing
my speed as fast is frightening.

Actually, sometimes describing my running as running is
sometimes an insult to runners.

Thanks for being out there. Glad I got to see you guys at
all.

Thanks to all volunteers - but especially the BT crowd and the cream of the crowd - ESCKTC!
