OK, this one is a little different: Coredump will be here from March 17-21, and he's up for a little powder-training!  Anyone up for some skiing then?

I'm up for it! Oh wait... I'm already included.

The plan is I'm going to be up at Breck on saturday 3/19 and sunday 3/20 for some deep powder training.

Joe is going to try and meet up, anyone else that wants to would be great! :D

Either Erik or I will try for the 20th...

How 'bout we also plan on another group run or ride soon too?

I'm guessing you all are planning on going to a resort. :-P on that. I'm down if you want to get off the beaten track! :-)

And yeah, we need to do a group ride soon. I've got a great ~30 miler from Ft. Collins! :-)

I'm doing a 1/2 IM end of July, and an Oly end of August.

This could be doable 3 x 5 mile legs per person. I'd be down for it.

10 other people interested? :D

I did a run similar to this in Illinois about 4 years ago. Definitely a good time. I'd be interested if you don't mind having a total stranger inviting himself.

Hey, there are no strangers on BT!

Anyone else?  Sounds like an awesome run!

I'd be up for a bike ride soon. AS long as you all don't mind a slowpoke on a MTB tagging along!

Think I'll pass on that relay. IF I do the XTerra, that relay would be the following weekend I believe and I'm pretty sure I will still be recovering

Hey, if there's another slowpoke on another MTB, I'll go along. We can make sure nobody sneaks up on the group from behind

Relay sounds fun, a bike ride sounds fun - jeez, I knew I was cheap, I guess I just admitted I'm easy too
Have fun skiing! I have to learn to swim that weekend.

Hey Alpine87, where are you "learning to swim at?" I know Total Immersion is doing a class that weekend and Tyr is sponsoring a free class on the 19th too. I'm debating on going to the on sponsored by Tyr.

Decided to bite the bullet and pay for the TI "weekend of fun".
It's almost as much as a day of skiing now!

Joe,
I didn't mean almost as much fun, I meant almost as much (as in, expensive) as a day of skiing costs!!
Or do you mean you only ski down hills that you climb (for free) first?

Well let us know how it goes "big spender"

For now, I'm gonna read the book and see where that gets me. I'm a cheap penny pincher regardless of whether I'm skiing or doing anything else.

I meant the whole experience: spending a lot of money to go thrashing around in the water listening to a failed drill sergeant telling you what you're doing wrong vs. spending a lot of money just to have me laughing at you after we bash through some trees at Breck!
