These are awesome. Hmm...I'm kind of thinking the caramel pattern with the cerulean color scheme. I may have to play around with that. Of course, you're more than welcome to beat me to it. I don't have Paint Shop Pro here at work, so it'll have to wait until tonight.

I am rather partial to paint schemes based on Mondrian. (Like this)

Some might suggest that the Team La Vie Claire look is a bit outdated (La Vie Claire from the 1980s with GL and BH) but then this is the same inspiration for several of the 2008 Cervelo Paint Schemes. (Including my P2C)

Red, yellow, blue and/or white fields with black stripes

I like his work, but not sure I want my ride to look like the Partridge Family bus.

Or just put "On your left".... cocky but would get more than a couple laughs if people were watching.

I kind of like the idea of "This is me passing you" on the right chainstay and "You're faster, but I look better" on the left chainstay.

dgunthert - 2008-10-20 11:34 AM Time to release your inner artist. I've got a 2008 P3C frame arriving this week. I really don't like the factory silver/black/red paint scheme and with so many P3's out there, I want mine to at least look different. I've got the equipment and experience to do a high quality paint job myself. I'm very mechanically inclined, which is really what doing a custom paint job requires. However, designing said custom paint job is where the creativity is required and that's where I fall a bit short. So here's a blank slate P3 frame to play with. I'm wide open to colors and designs, so if you've got any ideas, let's see them. I'm seriously looking for some input on what to do with my frame. It doesn't have to be crazy or even all that unique. I just want it to look good. Just right-click on the image and save it local and then you can play around in PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, or even MS Paint.
How did you get a blank image of the frame? I am getting my Felt custom painted and I want to see what a few of my ideas will look like. Thanks.

Took the frame picture from the Cervelo web site and spent a few minutes with it in Paint Shop Pro.

dgunthert - 2008-10-20 11:20 AM Not really a contest

What? Clearly it was implied from the beginning that the best design was going to win the bike. I mean everyone else was under that impression, right?
