Sounds like a good drafting wind. Get behind someone fast and let them do the work in the headwind.

Hey everyone good luck on Sunday!

Just wanted to give you a heads up for some good swag. My wife is doctor with Spring Valley Chiropractic and they are set up at the expo. Stop by and tell her you are a beginner triathlete with beginnertriathlete.com and she'll give you a nice reusable ice pack. She is there providing free Active Release Technique to any and all athletes. I haven't seen the booth space, but she told me there is a big "ART" banner/sign and it is near the packet pick up.

She recently worked IMFL with the sports med team, she got to work on the eventual 3rd place pro, and would love to meet some other DFW tri geeks.

Did you guys hear/see the story about the guy running off course? That was pretty crazy, I don't remember there being a 12 foot sign as reported in the DMN, but I also took time to study the course. I think it was solely on the athlete, but I bet the signage is better next year. Thoughts?

I can't figure out how he could have missed it. My folks were watching it on TV and said there was nobody around him. I could understand if there was maybe a pack of marathoners in front of him that blocked the sign. From what they described he was all alone and just didn't go the right way.

Maybe he didn't understand/could read the signs? Language issue? I dunno.
