Comments: First mile was 7:10 but felt OK... i have this thing where I like to start out hauling azz and then I slowly die...thus is why I had speedster Dave pace me- he did awesome. My friends Bob and then Glen passed us before the one mile mark...(hee hee I will see them again) I knew Id be OK with a 7:30-7:40 pace til maybe mile 7 or 8 and I was right. Dave just kept talking and I just kept ignoring him. I was probaly htting Z5 by then so just wanted to finish. I think at mile 7 we passed Bob again- I train with him all the time and he always beats me (although IMWI 2009 will be the real race baby!!) Then at mile 9 we saw Glen walking so I beat him too!! YEAH ME.....gonna savor ir cuz it will probaly never happen again. AND tomake thing look even cooler I beat Yams and jzat (yes they had on huge ass costumes and weret really running hard but will I ever be able to say that again??? nope at mile 8ish Dave said we could hit 1:10 if I could push a little more- I said nope.... Im good :) oh well- he tried What would you do differently?: run harder this is a good race for me- there are always fast runners there and it kind of puts me back in my place. Although Im happy with my pace, 10th out of 65 isnt really where I want to be. next year. 2006 I was 1:17, 2007-1:15, 2008 1:11.....  Post race
Warm down: BEERS :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Id like to blame it on my costume...but probaly not. I could blame it on my pacer- but I already spit on him so Ill be nice ;) Event comments: 3rd year here and its always fun :) Last updated: 2008-10-06 12:00 AM

Put on the Batgirl costume with some armwarmers...dudes0 it was kinda cool out. HAd apbj and some GE. Rode down with some friends that I run with.
nothin- chilled- Davey walked in and said hed pace me to a 1:12ish time. Found the donks...ummm who were pretty easy to find..why the heck are we the omly ones who know how to have fun :)?? Great costumes peeps.
