Pre-race routine:

Ate a bagel with peanut butter and drank water. Drove to the race site and used the bathroom. Did a warmup.
Event warmup:

Jogged about 3/4 of a mile and did some light stretching. Relaxed.

Comments:

My left foot started bothering me at the base of my fourth toe. Caused me to favor it for 1/2 the race. Real good effort over the last 1.5 miles.
What would you do differently?:

Better work up.

Walked, jogged and stretched.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Limited training and a cold the previous week.

Event comments:

Not a bad race. Good crowd size and there was plenty of room in the coned off lanes. As usual, great HPD support in the traffic control arena.
