Subject: WTB -Cranks, Brakes and Shifters

I am building up a bike and am looking to buy some parts.  I am trying to do it on the cheap so I am looking for parts that might be collecting dust.  I have a bottom bracket with a square taper and need cranks.  I am also looking for brakes and shifters and think Shimano Sora combined brakes and shifters would be cool, but I am not picky.  Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, I am also looking for a threaded to threadless stem ...and bike shoes (Mens size 8).

Sora 8 or 9 speed? I have 8 speed Sora STI and cassette, and Tiagra 8/9 rear der with long cage (can be used with triple).

I have brand new ultegra flight deck brake/shifter levers never been mounted. They retail for almost 400 bucks, I'll let em go for 250.
