I thoroughly enjoyed this race.  The course is somewhat hilly.  I really liked the finish in Sundance Square.  I'll probably run it again this year.

In for the half. Hopefully with my brother as a pacer. Otherwise I'll just go balls to the wall as usual.

Here is the elevation map for the marathon which up to mile 8.5 ish  and the last two are the same as the half marathon. I guess miles 9-11 are the fast, downhill ones.

I hope to make this my first marathon.

did the half last year and really enjoyed it. i don't remember many hills though...may have just blocked them out though. i do remember running a lot on brick roads through the town, but it wasn't terrible, it does stand out to me though. i plan to do the half again this year as i remember really liking it last year.

I'm in for the half. My only other half (White Rock) was done on an injured knee battling the flu.

6-ish weeks away, kids! Got my first 20-miler on Saturday, wooop wooop!

This will be my first FULL marathon, and it also happens to be my 30th birthday Kiss
We'll be partying that evening in the Sundance Square area - join me!

Also - what's the weather typically like at the end of February? I will probably pack for every scenario, but thought I'd ask the question.

In North Texas...you cannot pinpoint weather until a few days before.  Today it is 82, Saturday high will be 45.

Pack for all scenarios

There is a guy who runs it every year in a cow suit, does that count? I am in for the half and Doug says he is going to run the full, could someone encourage him to train for it? His brother is coming from Seattle to do it with him.

There are definitely hills on the course, the course includes most of our main training areas and while they aren't big hills, it is NOT a flat course.
