Pre-race routine:

drove down to the downtown Y and tried to stay warm and get loose
Event warmup:

Nothing, but trying to go to the bathroom

Comments:

had no idea what to expect, seeing my longest run was maybe 12 miles or so. Was way out of shape and hoped prior base and fitness would get me thorugh without too much pain. IMAZ is 5 weeks out from race so didn't want to hurt too bad.

Went pretty good and actually felt strong during the tough miles of 18-22]

Fitness prevailed the last 4 miles though. Started to get tight and it was a struggle but we managed our way through it.
What would you do differently?:

Train for this and loose the freakin 30 pounds extra I had to carry around the course

It amazes me how you can bust out a marathon like it is nothing.
