Pre-race routine:

1st half marathon. Up early enough to get in a decent breakfast so I start on a near empty stomach.
Event warmup:

Hit elliptical at hotel for 15 min warm up. Stretching and a quick shakedown jog around the block to assess weather and make sure legs are race ready.

Comments:

I entered this race to step up my running program for the Olympic Tri's I have planned for 2009. I had a solid training program to get me up to distance and to try for a finish time @ 2 hrs. I exceeded my goals and I am a stronger runner.
