Subject: icelandic triathlon

hello everybody,

 

Is there anobody living in Iceland? I'll live in Reykjavik for five month from january till may( I'm french). And I'd like to train may favorite sport, why not in an icelandic club!

If somebody can help me or give me some informations about triathlon in Iceland, whatever it concern...it would be very nice!

Hi, current there are 2 “active” Icelandic members of BT. Me and my wife

We have a club, but right now the only thing going on is swim training, 2x week.

There will be an indoor tri at the end of February 400m/10k/2,5k. It is normally a big Tri, and there might be as much as 30 people Triathlon is a small sport in a small country.

There will be 2 Tri´s in May a sprint and a ½ Olympic. But you might not want to bring your bike now, as we normally don’t start biking outside before April.

Actually the club president is French too, I can send you his email if you want ?
