Group training sessions

I like many others am planning my races and training next year to prepare for IMAZ. I'm kind of a fair weather triathlete. I like it when it is not too hot and not too cold.

So, I was thinking about heading over to San Diego once or twice during the summer to get some weekend training in. For one of the trips, I was thinking about racing the America's Finest half mary and get in a long ride that same weekend.

My thought is is would give me a break from training in the extreme heat. If several of us are interested, we could try to rent a house for the weekend to share expenses.

I have nothing against Flagstaff in the summer. I just thought the lower elevation would be better.

Any thoughts? Any interest in this?
