4km snowy run.  Beautiful out.  It's hard to run in the snow tho. Slow going. 6" deep, unplowed...

Ah, I remember the days running in the snow. Actually, in a week I'll be in Winnipeg for a few days so I'll definitely get my fair share!!

1h10 on the trainer this morning. Hopefully will get something in later in the day as well....we'll see, there's a lot to do this weekend. Have a great day everyone!

Oooo I would love to run in the snow!

I get chilly pretty quickly though, so it might not be the best idea for me to hunt for snow.

Regardless, :45 on the treadmill this morning since the good treadmill at the pool was broken down, and the other 2 had a lineup of MEAN people for it.  Last treadmill run before I am allowed to run outside again!

Maybe hitting the trainer later today, since it's my last day for using my bike until Jan. 3 or 5, since i will be in Victoria/Campbell River/Vermont until then, and it's not possible for me to bring my bike on the ferry with me (I would have to bus it out with my surfing gear + snowboarding gear).  Just not possible!

So it's the month of the run!

45 mins on the trainer this morning.

I have only got one NORMAL workout week left for me....then it is the week of Christmas (and four kids home from school) and then we are heading to Florida for 3 weeks on the 28th....worried about how much 'training' I will get in while away (I am sure only about half as much as now at the most...and most will probably be swimming - which is lacking lately anway)....hope I don't gain too much weight too - I have been working really hard and lost about 10 pounds in the past 6 weeks or so...hope that doesn't all find it's way back to me!

Jill

Congrats Jill, that's awesome!

I went for a 1 hour walk with Angus this morning on the trails and then did 41' on the trainer this morning.

I love cupcakes.

What part of Kelowna do you live in?  I'd guess Crawford, but I might be wrong...

Close.  I used to live in Crawford but now I'm in the newer subdivision on the other side of the ravine.  Above the old Quarry.  You know it?  Have you lived here before?

Born and raised...left for school when I was 19.  My whole family's still there and in Vernon.  I'm back pretty regularly, still.  Never lived in that area, though.  Mostly grew up in Ellison/Rutland, but my dad lives over by the Mission Sports Fields now, right by the new arena/pool/library complex thingy.

My daughter lives in the complex right across the street from the CNC.

OMG, I can't WAIT until the new aquatic centre opens in April.  $45 a month for FULL ACCESS and only 5 minutes away.  Athans is a 25-30 min drive right now.  W00t!!!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the pool opening.  It'll be nice to be able to swim when I'm there.  The gym there isn't bad either, although it's a bit on the pricey side for drop ins.
