Subject: HELP.....gaining weight!!! Hey everyone,
Much to my frustration, I've gained approx. 10lbs in 1 month. Here's the kicker - In the last month I added bike to my regular "run" workout and got back on the healthy eating plan (not that I was too far off it ).
So, I'm usually running 3.5 miles, 3x week and biking (indoor trainer ) up to 1 hour, 5x a week and strength train 4x week for about 30 min. per session. I also play tennis 2x week, for about 2 hours. I'm not a very ambitious eater, and really eat mostly healthy food...i.e. no fast food, junk food. I always eat 3 meals a day, usually with a snack or two.
I was hoping to drop 10, but I'm going - quickly - in the wrong direction. I wanted to add a swim workout this week, but can't figure out what the deal is.
I've been hypothyroid for 5 years, but remain "stable". I also have fibromyalgia - which is what got me into all this training in the first place but has been under control.
Any ideas??? I swear, I think my metabolism is reversed!!!
