Subject: Bikes-best areas to upgrade for first tri bike

I am investing in my first tri bike in '09.  For size reasons (4'10", 102lbs), I am going with a custom frame from Seven and already plan to use Dura Ace components and pedals.  What are the next couple of things I should consider upgrading? and what brands?

For reference, my fitter suggested the following for wheels based on my weight: Velocity rims / Dura Ace 7900 hubs and either a Alpha Q GS-20 650 (carbon/carbon) or 3T Funda 650 Fork.

Am I on the right track?

Lucky you! I think your wheel choice is good. Get the velocity aero rim 30mm deep and strong but I would go with ultegra hubs for a cost savings but that is up to you.
Also I bought a custom Serotta and the hardest thing for me was picking the colors! There are so many choices it was driving me crazy! Make sure you give it a lot of thought.

I'm new to tri, but an experienced road cyclist. If you're looking for an all-around wheelset to race & train with, 30mm rim with bladed spokes & Ultegra hubs is a good cost-effective combo.  A decent local wheel builder should be able to build a set for you.  If you want to go pre-built, look for something near those specs (30mm rim or taller with bladed spokes).  If you're interested in aerodynamic wheel theory, check out the tech site on Zipp.  If $$ is no object, Zipp 404's are very popular (~$2+k though).  Flashpoint wheels (Zipp's "entry-level" are another option at lower cost than Zipps.
