Does anyone know if the riding around Bastrop State Park is any good? Are there any maps of the area for cycling?

Thanks,
Dunphy

You can ride on the paved roads from Bastrop SP to Buescher SP.  There is very little traffic and it's about 25 miles round trip.  It's VERY hilly as well.  You can pick up a park map at the entrance to Bastrop SP.  There's a park store at the halfway point (Buescher SP) if you need to refill or get a snack.

The MS150 from Houston to Austin goes through there.  It is a very fun section to ride.

Do a search on MS150.  I bet the map on that site will work for you.
