Run
Comments: I haven't seen the official results yet. My time was on my watch (I didn't start until I hit the starting line). The chip time will probably add 20 seconds. I felt good the entire time. I dressed appropriately so cold was not a factor. I had no real aspirations since I have been Tommy Treadmill so far this winter and have NOT run outside since early November. I was very happy with my time! It felt great to race again too. What would you do differently?: Not much since I had the bar set pretty low. Post race
Warm down: Went inside, ate a few bagel pieces and oranges, had a Mt. Dew that will be my last...starting Jan 1 I am officially off the joy juice. Met up with a couple of friends but did not see any of the Donkai threesome. What limited your ability to perform faster: Crowded start mostly...I started too far back. Event comments: Very fun race. Great cause (childhood cancer fundraiser). Last updated: 2008-12-31 12:00 AM

1/2 PB sandwich, banana before I left home. Parked, warm-up run to get my packet, back to the car where I sat to stay warm before heading back to the start line.
Just the short run from my car to packet pick-up and then back to the start line.
