I've actually been considering Trainerfest Detroit.  I can hold quite a few bikes in my basement....I'm thinking 20 or so?  I'll see how well Matt's place holds up first, tho.  Laughing

trixie - 2009-01-30 3:45 PM   Not sure I could hold that many people though...maybe 10 bikes or so....lemme think about this a bit before I offer up trixieville.

The trick is where to put people when they aren't riding.  My normal overflow room will have furniture piled up.    Besides, I figure I can only fit about 12 bikes.  We'll see though.

I hope everyone likes hanging in the kitchen.

Awesome!  It'll be fun to get the gang together.  I don't think we've had a group this big, since jazz-house.

Bummer Liz!

I think TwoHearted and I will come out with our running gear if anyone is going to do a little run.  But at this point I think I'm leaving all the bike stuff behind.

We may be a little late, but K was baking bread last night so we'll have some tasty carbs for you riding fools

Thanks for coming everyone.  That was fun.  Plus, the clean up was easier than a normal family gathering.

Post your pictures as soon as you can.  I didn't take a single one, myself.

It was really nice to see everyone again and meet some new faces and to introduce my lovely wife to some more of the BT crowd.  Maybe next time I'll bring the bikes.  Thanks again Matt.

Matt with my absolute crappy knowledge of posting pics, it may take a day or two to get them up, as I have to relearn the entire process yet once again.  I'll do my best.

Matthew, you rock. Thank you.

And I'll eat all those chocolate pretzels. Even if they're shaped like foofy valentines day stuff. Chicks. Pfft.

Posting pics on BT sucks!  I tried doing it with the batch photo which I paid $$$ for now I have a thousand photos of different copies of our lovely day.  What a PIA!

I'll post them some other day.

I knew you wouldn't resist for long.

To all - I'm happy to report that Jamie noticed no lingering stank.   She suggested that I do it again in month or so.

Matt you and your wife rock.  When I suggested to my wife that we might host one of these she looked at me like I had three heads...lol...we will surely do something over the summer months though when we don't have to try to cram 20 bikes into the living room.Smile

I'm checking my schedule...would like to host or attend a Lansing area trainerfest...I'd like to meet other BT folks.  I'll measure my basement and see how many I can hold.
