Subject: Spirit of the Marathon

Saw the movie last night.  Pretty interesting movie.  It covers the Chicago Marathon and at it first I was afraid it was going to be the disaster of '07, but nope it was the '05 movie.

Not the worst way to spend 2 hours if it is on the TV.

 

btw: the runner Leah, I used to work with her running partner - felt like a stalker b/c I couldn't remember her (the running partner's) name, but they showed her bib # in a scene and I was able to look her up and refresh my memory.

What channel was it on? I saw it in the theatres last year and enjoyed it.

I saw it in the theatres last year with a couple friends who are marathoners - definitely got me pumped to train for a marathon (then 4 weeks out, I did something to my knee, so no marathon - this year, though ).
