write it on a Post it and then stick it to my water bottle. water makes it stick.

I print my scheduled workouts off on the computer.  Then place them in a large ziplock bag.

I don't time all my laps, but I usually pick a few from each workout to remember and note later on.  You get better at remembering workouts with practice.

Index Card set up by the diving block. Then I just throw it away at the end of the workout.

Am I the only person that does this?

By the time you get in the shower, a little soap and the ink is gone!

We had some construction done at the house recently and there was some leftover Tyvek...I cut out a few squares of that and wrote my workouts on it with a Sharpie.  Works great.

I write mine on my hand too, it stays on well enough, but I can still wipe it off as I go with one good swipe of the thumb.

I use a sticky and put it in my goggles case and keep it at the end of the lane.  Once I am done with the set it's right there for me to look at. It's never got wet.

I've now come across a lot of varied swim programs. Most of them are multipart, meaning that in one day, you'll warm up, do some drills, kicking, intervals, more drills, and cooldown. It gets pretty complicated pretty fast.

How do you all keep track of what the workout is? I tried printing out some workouts in miniature form and "laminating" them with tape, but I lost the little cutout after a week or two. When I try and remember what the entire workout is, I have no chance unless it's a very, very straightforward one. (Like swim 1600meters nonstop.)

How do you all keep track of what intervals at what pace and what rest periods you have to do in today's workout? Do you just memorize it all, or do you use some sort of aid, like a notebook (waterproof?) or something along those lines?

I would write my workouts on an index card. Index card went into a sealed Ziplock baggie. I would prop it up beside the pool.

Easy stuff.

I do what coach writes on the board

Otherwise, I make up something easy.  I know my paces so figuring out an ez or a hard set is pretty simple

1 x 400
2 x 300
3 x 200
4 x 100
etc.

I took a notecard and covered it with contact paper. I use a dry erase marker to write my workouts on it, then stick it in a ziplock so the marker doesn't come off in my bag or at the pool. Then when I get home I just wipe off the workout and write out the new one for the next day. Easy peasy!
