Comments:

My first half marathon. Ran with my wife, Catie and her friend Becca. Becca is a former elite runner, and she was nice enough to pace us. I ran hard the last 1 mile, trying to get under 1:55. I'll have to check the official time, but my watch says 1:54:54. I'm so happy about this race.

Warm down:

Walked around, trying not to puke, succeeded.

Event comments:

I really like this race. It's a bit of a pain to get to the start, but we had a friend drop us off. That makes it so much easier.
Right now I feel quite beat-up. Tomorrow is a day off, and Tuesday begins swim training for the spring. Hooray.

Congrats on the sub2!  This was my first 1/2 mary also...  I got the drop off early to the race thankfully.  The 202 was backed way up in the morning so we took the 17 to the back side of the race area to avoid the traffic.

Cards are going to the superbowl !!!
