Comments:

This was the first chip-timed race that the kids have done. Tucker (21)finished in 25:18 (17/35), Cooper (19) finished in 25:57 (30/44), and Kenzie (14) finished in 32:04 (12/22). And my wife ran with Kenzie, so they ahd a good time.

I felt good that morning, and told the kids that I was going to see how fast I could go--I'd never run a 5K for time--so I was interested in having some fun. I was pleased with my effort, but beleive I can shave another 20 seconds per mile off of my pace with little effort.
What would you do differently?:

Push myself more at the start.
