Pretty sure Daniel might be child of Elle (Eloise Hawkins)/Widmore which would make him Penny's half sister.  Just as Jack and Claire are half sibs.

I think the nose bleeds have something to do with the person having previous ties to the island and when there is a time shift they are co-exisiting at the same time.  Charlotte (maybe) was born on island, but does not remember that.  When the time shifts occur she is on island at same time as child Charlotte.  Time/Space continuum no likey.  ;-)  Objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time so nose bleeds and eventual death?

Minkowski got nosebleeds (and died). No known previous connection to island.

Seriously, good point. It explains why it is her and nobody else.

I think the dinosaur comment could be back in season one when Ol' Smokey was heard and not seen (like when he yanked the pilot out of the cockpit). I can see how someone would have thought maybe it was a T-Rex. That is until we got a better look at it later on.

So two more Losties got killed from the beach when the Daisy Chain of Claymore mines went off.  (they were traveling with Niles, Charlotte and Farraday).  So the Others said they didn't set them?   Was it the Widmore Mercs from last season?

So Desmond and Penny had a son and named him Charley...sweet.

What was the power that Niles had?  He senses walking over dead bodies or something like that?

"No known."  Exactly!  Not known YET.  ;-)  It's just a wacky theory I've got, which is probably wrong, like all my other theories about LOST.  :-)

Couldn't have been the Widmore Mercs as the mines going off occurred "in the past" so it was 50 years before the Mercs were on the island, right?

It's been established in past episodes that Miles can (supposedly) speak to or has some kind of connection to the dead.

I know - I caught that too Also the name of Penny's dad too (Charles) - though I'm sure that's not why Desmond named him Charlie

I know - it's getting so complicated now that they can only focus on a few characters per episode. I loved me some Desmond time though Their son is SO adorable! They'd better not ship Desmond back to that island forever...I'll be mad at J.J. Abrams...

The son is cute.  Penny's acting wasn't very good last night.

I think the people in this thread are purty darn smart, I didn't think of half (OK, any) of these things.  Widmore and Gun Chick spawn Faraday.  Locke tells Richard to find him Richard tells Locke to find him.... OY!

I trust her but not her dad.  Seems kind of suspicious he would just hand over Faraday's moms address to Desmond (I mean if she's working with Ben wouldn't that mean they are enemies now?   He doesn't seem the type that would have a problem offing her, even if he DID have a child with her).  I think he is using Desmond to get to Ben and putting Penny at risk to do so since Ben told Widmore he would kill Penny if he found her a little while back.
