Walked over to the park, met up with Cathy & chatted for a little while.

Comments:

Just brutal, so out of shape. Ran with Cathy for the 1st half, then my desire to just be done took over. HR was over LT & legs were dying by the last mile. Hit the 3 mile mark & seriously had to talk myself out of walking the last .10. About 100ft out from the finish I saw I had :10" left to make it under 26 minutes so I booked it down the chute.

What would you do differently?:

Do some training.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not having done any training since, oh, July.

Event comments:

It was good to see Cathy again & they had brownies & iced tea at the finish so I was happy. I guess it was a good wake-up call about how far from where I was & that its time to start doing some work again.
