You heard me...I actually registered for my first tri....

The Cascade Edge Olympic Tri on June 20th. That means I actually have to race it now...not just train for it and say I will...The pressure is on to work hard for the next 5 months...or and to have fun...

 *gulp*

You don't have to "RACE" it.  You have to go out and not die, and have fun.  Nothing wrong with just embracing the absurdity of the sport and yelling from the mountaintops, "I DID THIS!!!" :-D

Good for you!  It's a good feeling once you actually sign up for the race, puts a goal date out there for you to shoot for.

I had that same feeling between registering and racing that first race.  Lucky for me, that was only 2 weeks or so.

Sign up for an M-dot race and you get a whole year to question your sanity.
