Run
Comments: I went out pretty fast and had to slow down during mile two. I felt strong at the end, so I opened it up for the final 3/4 of a mile. What would you do differently?: Not run the first mile in 5:15. Post race
Warm down: Walked around drank a bottle of water, went home, ran an easy 3.5 miles. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of speed training. Event comments: Great event for a great cause (supports Bancroft Neurohealth). This race draws some serious athletes that makes for great competition. There were several oylimpic athletes that ran, and the winner was in the low 14's. The results are very impressive for a local 5K run ... http://www.lmsports.com/ban05.htm Last updated: 2005-03-19 12:00 AM
