I am not looking forward to the frigid water next weekend but at least this time I have a neoprene cap |

I'm afraid of the cold water too, tried swimming with a wetsuit in the pool for the first time today. I've never swam in open water. It's too cold here, up in PA. So... I think next weekend should be interesting. Hahah.... this is the point of no return I guess. |

The girl was like "There's not a big difference" and I was like "Um, hold one next to the small - they're not even the same damn shirt, you moron".). Even the tech tees. I have two tech tees from races that I can't wear to work out since they're ginormous. I will sometimes wear them on the trainer, though. |

They shortened the swim (but not the sprint swim the next day) for the half to ~ an oly distance swim - only a few hundred meters short of the 1/2 iron swim distance. They gave an option of a duathlon, you got timed, but were not eligible for awards. The water is currently 58 degrees. Nothing to worry about there. |
