Run
Comments: Wow...very fun course. It brought me back to my high school cross country days. The course was challenging and terrain was not what I am used to! We had to run through a river 4 times and run with wet feet. The trails were steep and had many sharp turns. I had to keep my eyes down at all times. I did run off course on the first loop but luckily a runner behind me yelled at me to tell me I was going the wrong way! What would you do differently?: Nothing...I did the best I could do! Post race
Warm down: Hung out with Scott, Matt, Sandra and Brinn. I should have cooled down to elimate the stiffness in my legs What limited your ability to perform faster: ??? Hard to say. I don't run trails on a regular basis (or at all) but I think I did my best. Event comments: I loved this race. I placed 1st in my age group and was the 3rd female overall so I can't complain. I am definately not used to this kind of course but I think that's what made it so fun! Last updated: 2009-02-15 12:00 AM

Woke up about 6:30am, ate a bagel and peanut butter, half a Cliff Bar and a cup of coffee! Scott, Matt, Sandra, Brinn and I got in the car and hoped we'd make it there on time to register!
Jog around before the race for about 5 mins to get warm
