Age Group Rank = 4/20
Pre-race routine:

Ate oatmeal, a banana, a hard boiled egg, some coffee. Drove to Indy.
Event warmup:

Ran for 10 minutes before the start to get warmed up and HR up.
Run
  • 23m 18s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 31s  min/mile
Comments:

I did this run just to meet my monthly goal of one event per month. My plan was a moderate foundation run that my training plan called for. However, I felt good so I ended up pushing the pace.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder. I could have finished in 23:00 flat.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, got bowl of soup, banana, and breadstick. Hung around for awards cause I didn't think there was anyone in front of me in my AG!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mental effort.

Event comments:

Nice race. As usual, awards presentation needs to speed up.

Good run Greg, looks like you did well.  I was going to do it, but I have a tooth infection and it's killing me, maybe next year.
