Subject: Hill repeats - young vs. old
I'm getting ready for an upcoming century in a hilly area, and was doing some hill repeats in my neighborhood. I noticed there was a 10-12 year old kid doing the same thing. For a second I thought, "What's that kid training for?", and then it hit me -- he wasn't there to ride UP the hill, he was there to ride DOWN. He was having a blast, and the "climb" was just the price he paid to have the fun of zooming down again. Reminded me again of why the bike is my favorite part of the SBR!

You it is the little things in life that make it the best.

We all should be zooming those hills!
