Performance Xport roof rack - parts rusted

I bought the Xport roof rack around 1998. I love my little roof rack but some of the bolts are rusting and not looking good at all (some of the tiny screws/bolts have rusted as well). Would it be unreasonable of me to ask Performance to replace these bolts or should I just head to Home Depot and get some ugly replacement bolts? The rest of the rack is in good shape.
