You're looking at the wrong list.

The PDF file titled "Participant Information" is just last year's info with dates changed.  That's old and you can ignore it.

The Excel file titled "Swim Start Times" was posted in April.  That's the one to read.

WHEWEWW!  Ok...thanks Jeeps!

The website is absolutely horrible. Information is dated or constantly changing.

Yeah, I kind of agree...RD's know that triathletes are usually pretty information hungry and completely judgmental when it comes to the website.  I have noticed that if you sign up for the forums, you can get a lot of info from the peeps out there...

7:09 swim wave start.  Much better Sealed

Too bad I'm already scheduled for long distance this weekend.  Oh well, should make Monday interesting.  looks like a training day with 3000 of my closest friends.

That's bizzarre.  If you click on Information and then Race Weekend Schedule, my wave shows as 7:09.  But this schedule does not show ther ITU race.

If you click on Packet Pick Up and then View Now, the time is 8:20.  I'm confused.

RATS!

I agree...very confusing.  Aaron advised me that the schedule using excel is the correct/more updated version.

Barton Springs is open on Sunday, should be 3 bucks to get in, I'll be there either Saturday or Sunday morning-ish to get in a wetsuit swim.

It's free if you are done swimming before 9.

I think it opens at 5 AM.

Dude, WTF. Depending on which link you click, they have different times for body marking/transition, wave starts, & similar. They didn't hand out a packet with the swim cap/bag of goodies either, so it's not like you can go by that.

These guys are retarded.

The other day I sent the RD a question about that indicating that there are two different sets of times listed on the website.

His response:"The info listed on the website is correct."

I guess that's like a broken watch - it's right twice a day.

I also like the notice that we are responsible for our own body marking.  I have never before heard of that.  There's a first for everything.  Maybe we can select our own wave start too?

They're going to have it out there tomorrow according to both docs I've seen, I hope that hasn't changed. Oh well, whatever.
