Elite 4547 | Subject: RE: The Bachelor- Final Rose (spoiler) Good points above ^ ^. Let it be known, my favorite was hands-down Jillian. I'm a huge Jillian fan. I thought she'd be the best wife and mom, unfortunately the spark wasn't there with Jason...or at least a spark stronger than Molly and Melissa. Now, somebody said it was classy of Melissa's parents not to go on the show, I disagree. If my daughter's considering marrying a man, any man, I want to meet him cameras or no cameras. I still think that situation had more to do with Melissa's erratic past than anything else. Just look at the comparison. Molly - poised and confident, yet still emotionally strong enough to keep her head high as she told Jason he was making a huge mistake..."She's (Melissa) not ready." She was right. Melissa's parents probably know she's not ready and obviously weren't keen on their daughter considering marriage. For those of us who saw the whole season, (because so many are chiming in without seeing anything else but the shocking end) Jason proved he is a good guy. He never lied during the show and what I liked about his behavior on the show is that he didn't lead any of the ladies on. I really hope Jillian is the next Bachelorette. Melissa is not ready for marriage. |

Unless she's already moved to Seattle? Touche. Chinese Democracy, judging from the audience reaction at the reunion show, I think there's a GREAT chance Jillian will be the next Bachelorette. That is, unless the producers want to really mix things up with their first Bachelorette Mom, in which case it would be Stephanie, who also handled herself with incredible class and dignity throughout the season and won many fans along the way. If I had to bet money, though, I'd say it's Jillian. |

Melissa is not ready for marriage. Exactly, they played off Melissas parents not showing up as no big deal, I think it was a deal breaker. Jason definately showed concern when that happened, however Melissa lied to him when she said my parents will support any decision I make, they just dont want any attention right now, yea right, she has family issues for sure and should have been eliminated by the producers to make it fair to the other contestants. I'm betting during the phone sessions Jason figured it out she was too afraid to let her P's know! |

(the ladies can be vicious) they were enjoying ripping her appearance apart. That said, I don't think she'd make a really compelling Bachelorette, like Jillian would. |

Maybe Jason will dump Molly for... Chris Harrison! |

Maybe Jason will dump Molly for... Chris Harrison! I was thinking, "Bachelor: Utah Edition" where he marries them all! (just kidding Utes, all in good fun.) My favorite part of the show each week was Chris walking in to remind Jason each week that there was one rose left to give out...DUH! great stuff to make fun of...but this year was different than the episodes in years' past. There was something genuine with Jason. I'm happy for him. |

Expert 932 Madison | Subject: RE: The Bachelor- Final Rose (spoiler) They duped you all! This was a total set-up by ABC. According to a few different online sites, Jason had picked Molly long before the final rose and he schemed with the producers to make the final ending even more "DRAMATIC". Thus, he picked Melissa only to dump her on live TV and then got to be with Molly. Rumor is that he spent time in Hawaii with Molly prior to dumping Melissa so they did have contact. Here is one of the sources... Who should we believe - it's all crap. |

Sorry, I'm not buying info. fit for the tabloid...so while I can't prove I wasn't duped, I just don't believe Jason would do something like that. For God's sake, he's been through that kind of rejection himself. He doesn't look sadistic to me, never did. Sorry. |

By watching it, I mean sitting on the computer reading the 'things i learned from my patients' thread (i know you know what I'm talking about) and randomly throwing out comments about which girl is hotter and pointing out the double entendre in my most annoying 'that's what she said' voice do they give these people scripts? The only things I half-heard coming from anybody's mouths were cliche romantic garbage. You could play buzz-word bingo off this show and by passed out drunk in 5 min. At least he didn't run a 17 mile marathon, or is that tonight? Edited by vortmax 2009-03-03 5:49 PM |

At least he didn't run a 17 mile marathon, or is that tonight? Seriously, most of the past Bachelors...okay, all the past Bachelors were pretty bad. This one was different. It went beyond "looks" even though any man worth his weight will throw in who's hot and who's not comments...I loved this season and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Also, I don't buy the "Jason did this to build drama and increase ratings." Why? Ratings were already a lot higher than last season's episode. Over 25% higher if I'm not mistaken...and I'm sure the After the Rose stuff will be through the roof. I really hope Jillian is the next Bachelorette. One more thing, that Molly has one nice golf swing. |

Jason was incredibly respectful when it came to his 4 year old son. Trust me, I'm quite judgmental and I was impressed with what a great father he is. c: yes, the cliches are present, but what do you expect? |

I think he was genuine. I believe the guy. I think Melissa's name should have been "showtime." Like Jason found out, she's very different without the cameras rolling. It was quite obvious he made the wrong choice as Melissa is quite immature and not ready for marriage let alone parenting. I say bravo to Jason for following his heart...eventually. The only concern I had was why his cutting it off had to be done on-air. To those who think he was "acting," during what stage of the show did you see him "acting" before? I just didn't see any acting. He was genuinely torn, still carried a flame for Molly that he tried to suppress but couldn't...and then there's Molly who was genuinely shocked. I was very happy for her. I can't wait for tonight's show at 10:00! ditto ditto ditto. i don't get why people are so pissed at him. assuming he had to do the dumping on the show, i think he handled it in the best possible way. i feel bad for melissa, but that's life sometimes. .....btw, am i the only one that thinks there might be a reason why she has been the "dumpee" in all of her previous relationships? |
