JeepFleeb - 2009-03-04 1:48 PM Does it seem weird that they still don't have packet pick-up info?

par for the course...

any goals.. besides big daddy dream crusher with the outright overall win, and marcy crushing her AG, that is

Goals for me are to improve on last year's time and AG placing. I'm hoping Aaron gets the win so he gets bumped out of my AG too. (yea, he's in my AG now, sucks)

I wanna eat more free post-race pancakes than Gaaary!

My only real chance is to get to the finish first so I have a head start.

i just went to costco and bought an entire pallet of monster drinks, that will increase my pancake eating  ability to Homer Simpson level and beyond.

then again you will beat me to the finish and most likely drink them all yourself..  a thousand curses to you  my caffeinated adversary

My goal is to try and finish better than last year's 1:07. I am always angry at myself for not going all out in my sprints. I hold back so that I can finish strong, but then end up with too much left in the tank.

My fear is having a cold front move through with 30 degree temps at the start.

If that's the case, there will be one less old fat lady competing

"Get thee far from St. Patrick's Triathlon, you Cold Front! Thou art now commanded to never again show thy face on the roads of Keller until 2010!"

If I had the power, that's what I'd command.  Alas, I don't and I'm one hopeful beginner that no cold winds prevent me from appreciating my first triathlon experience.

I will probably be out to cheer everyone on. I have a friend who is wanting to place in his AG... I'll be out there to cheer if he does.

And if he doesn't, he'll get a swift kick to the a$$.

I'll be out there...would love to meet some BT folks.

I'll be way behind jeep fleeb---in the race but maybe not so much in the pancake eating.

Three cheers for A DIFFERENT old, fat lady!!

I WILL have a PR!  oh.. it's my first race so that is a no-brainer.  I'm expecting to finish in the 1:35 to 1:50 range and should be in the last wave.  I'm only worried about there not being any pancakes left when I finish!

Looking fwd to kicking off this crazy year of tri's! Really hope that it stays nice and warm as last year coming out of the pool and onto the bike was not fun! Love the course - and hoping to be close to the start of the field with a 4 minute swim time posted.

I don't think I have ever craved pancakes more than I do right now.

Has anyone heard about packet pickup? The site still says it'll be announced in 2009. Last time I checked, we had already gotten there!

Man, I'm excited to start the tri season again!!!

Not surprised the packet pick up is not listed yet.  Kind of typical for Dallas Athletes (aka DSU)

I'm just hoping I'll get to race.  (Injury is not going away quickly. :-( )

Of course, since I'm registered, I should still get pancakes, right?
