Big_D - 2009-04-14 4:57 PM Remind me to swim BEHIND you guys...haha. Guess I swim the same way as the ows, just bang into people and get through. Take advantage of being a little bigger...

bingo.. you can literally just slid over peoples legs and they dont' notice it very much

That's why - whenever Gary's approaching me in the water - I break wind. HARD. If he's going to drag me under, he's going to do it inhaling fumes.

What kind of crazy times did you guys turn in for the swim seeding?
(I say crazy out of pure jealousy.)

Hey guys, I rode a portion of the bike course today and thought I'd show you the elevation map created by my G305.  I know it's not the best quality and I didn't ride the course right, but maybe this will be helpful to some of you.

That looks terrifying until you read the scale on the side of the chart.

Yep, the shirt & cap/visor are definite improvements in quality from last year. I'm #81.

wow #59 & 81,,,, Maybe I won't be 140 something this race then..

stay away rain

hey looking at the map and that hill chart,, does that mean we are going downhill than have to slow down for the turnaround at the bottom... that would suck.   maybe I'll drive the course on sat.

From what I understand, the way back on one end is a long, gradual uphill.

I guess I'll drive it.. I hate to be going downhill no matter how slight then have to stop to turnaround

What time did you turn in?  I guess a lot of people got really fast over the winter....I was 26 at monster and now 59 for caveman.  Those peeps better motor, now that I know the "Gary Pull Through" (ankle, hip, shoulder, ankle, hip, shoulder...)

121 is at the bottom of the hill, I didn't actually ride Trade Center or Patriot Dr, but you do turn at the bottom of the hill. I drive down the road to work everyday and the little Trade Center/Patriot loop should be pretty flat and hill is pretty gradual.

I drove that turn around loop and it is probably the flattest part of the course.  What is nice about that turn around is you are actually going around a block so no sharp corner to slow you down.

I put in 4:45 and I'm pretty much convinced I'm going to be climbing over people in the swim. Given it's only 275(why can't they do one lane twice?) yards, I'm thinking I'll end up closer to 4:35-4:40.

I'm 156.  Drove the bike course and was happy with what we saw.  This course is much easier than the Keller one from a hilliness perspective.

See you tomorrow!
