Nice race Bryan. For me today, I attempted my first BRick. 11 mile bike 46:40 and a 4.2 mile run 35:02. I did not really time a transitition, but it was probably around 5 minutes, no higher. It sucks because I can't go running through my appartment complex, so i had to walk in and walk out. But my legs got the general idea. Also did an 1 1/2 upper body resistance training session.

Bryan, awesome consistancy on the 5k's! For me, I rode my bike for an hour. I covered almost 17 miles. This was my longest solo ride of the year.

Longest run of the season so far ... just a little over 10 miles.  Pretty good running weather -- mid-30's this morning and not too windy.   Second to last long run before my half marathon race at the end of April.

hope everyone had a great race today (if you were racing)...and good luck to those racing in the coming weeks!

did a 20 mile ride with my husband and kids today. bill took the burley, so i felt light as a feather. plus, my single speed is FINALLY done, so this was its inaugural ride. i was even able to keep pace with a pack of roadies, until i realized the family was several blocks back and then i had to stop and wait. overall, it was a fun and easy ride. hills were much easier than expected.

Bryan, nice race mate!
A quick 3 mile run with hubby, kids in stroller, dog on leash and a friend of hubby`s. We did it in 22 min, so thats kind of fast for me. Then went on an easter egg hunt with work families, does that count?

45 mile ride today in awful weather! Started out ok...45 degrees with a little breeze, a little sun. Then at the halfway point it started to rain. And get cold. And the wind started blowing...and BLOWING! Oh...and the second half of the ride had all the long, steep uphills on it too so that made it even more fun. With about 12 miles to go it REALLY started raining...and blowing...and getting COLD. By the time we struggled up the last hill it was mostly snowing and 35 degrees with wind gusts to 20 mph. I was totally soaked and mud covered by the time I got home and it took a 25 minute hot shower to restore the circulation to my toes. But, it was a character building ride with good friends so all in all...it was good! Have a great Easter everyone.

Rode 50 but should have gone longer. I need to get a light as it was getting dark.

Happy training!

After 2 half marathons, 1 full marathon, the "long" leg on a relay race, the Pillar Mountain Race, several 5 Ks, and 2 triathlons today is an anniversary...officially, it has been one year since I began running.

I ran a 5k...

Awesome race, Bryan! I'm impressed with your bike leg.

I did a 90 minute Bikram yoga class this morning, which kicked my butt -- in a really good way! Then a 60 minute trainer ride (Spinervals Time Trial -- so far I've only made it through the first two 15 minute sets, but I'm working on it!) in the evening.
