Subject: LBS cost to build bike
I try to support my LBS whenever I can.  I have always received great service and decent prices.  But the LBS doesn't sell the frame I wanted, so I bought one online.  I am looking to move the components from my old bike and build the new bike.  What is a reasonable cost for the LBS to do this?  Thx

The charge for me to do that was $100. I think anywhere in that neighborhood is reasonable.

x3 ~$100

Also, I had some online prices for a few components that I hadn't acquired yet, and the LBS that put together my tri bike matched those prices w/ better stuff.  Hard to beat that.

Yes, $100 is par for the course for assembly and initial tuning.
