I wear them around the house, instead of walking around in just my socks. Made a HUGE difference in treating my PF. I'm sold on them and will NEVER stop wearing them...no matter how fugly they are.  |

Actually, I believe Uggs first developed popularity among the surfer crowd in Australia - then migrated to the surfer crowd in Southern California. Now they're ubiquitous. Though I agree that they look RETARDED when stupid teenage girls wear them with mini skirts in 30 degree weather. |

When I was in high school (late 90s) the only people wearing Uggs were the swim team. I guess they kept their feet warm after those chilly early morning practices. I always thought they must get kind of gross after awhile - like wearing the same pair of socks every day without washing them. |

I don't really hate them, though. I actually own two pairs. They are really comfy for the long days in the lab where I am on my feet 8 - 10 hours or after races. I used to hate them, then I decided to try a pair on. Actually pretty comfy! |
