There's a Disney movie in this.  Quick, I'm going to misplace the family pig for a few months when we go on vacation.  Maybe it will ride my tri bike around the country and win some races for me.

That is cool!    and yes - those breeds are very intellegent on several levels.

I have a border collie that is smarter than half the men I dated when I was single for city living and her bush survival instincts are keen. 

except when she bites my slippers - when my feet are in them!

Only warm and fuzzy if you're not a baby goat.



I wondered how it lived so long eating kids but I was happy for it.  I never guessed they were the four legged kind so now I am kind of sad.

This is a wonderful example of why, when  you are out on open water or sea, and not stopped or anchored,  you should have a life vest on your pet. A bright orange life vest, preferably with a handle on it so if they should fall or jump overboard, you can retrieve them easier.

DH and I always have our lifevests on when the big motor is running (bass boat- big motor vs trolling motor). And we both are great swimmers and I was a lifeguard. If boat safety is such that two very good swimmers should be wearing life vests, why not our pet, too?

BTW, I haven't taken Miss Maggie Mae out on the boat yet, but plan to this summer and she will have her own little doggie life vest...

Yes, it reminds of the time we rented a krypsona in the Greek Isles and the locals killed and roasted a goat. We ate it hungrily, our mouths glistening, hands greasy, and bodies sluggish with goat meat...
