Comments: Overall I suprised myself by how strong the run was.Only ran this distance once since returning to training after pnemonia on March 1. My HR was very high most of the race but it didn't seem to bother my energy level or muscle strength. What would you do differently?: Nothing really, it was a good start to the season. I figure the harder my races are leading up to November the stronger I will be in my Marathon for IMFL. Post race
Warm down: Walked to baggage and back to subway. Stopped at Starbucks to get a chai tea to warm up cause once I stopped running it was freezing. I remembered to bring 2nd (dry) top but should have also packed dry socks too. Tootsies were freezing! What limited your ability to perform faster: Weather -rain, rain, rain Event comments: Overall good race today, looking forward on building from here for the rest of my season>>> en route to my first Ironman! Woke up had tea and toast (one more day until I can have coffee again)! Dressed and prepared for a day in the rain.
Just jogged a little returning from the baggage area to the start. Stretched a little waiting for the subway.
