*Hoooo......Hooooo*

It's too bad we live thousands of miles apart...we could just get together once a week and chat...because we are the only two on here anyway!

So has anyone raced lately?  Anything interesting going on?  I raced for the first time (well, did a couple of run races recently) in 2 months this past Sunday.  Just another sprint, but was very pleased with my results.  If only I could get faster on the bike...I might actually be dangerous.

That's sweet dude.  What are you averaging on the bike? I have my next race September 12th.  A sprint also.  I feel comfortable with my swim and bike....run is another story.

I was just under 21.5 (I think I did a race log for it) this go-round.  I was pleased with it, considering the first half was fairly hilly.  I about had a heart attack.  I definitely need more time in the saddle.

Is this group completely dead?  Anyone raced recently?  Closing out the season?

Yeah...I gave up on this group a while ago.  Pretty sad for mentoring program....  I finished out my season Sept. 12th weekend.  Did my second sprint of the year and beat my previous time by over seven minutes and the bike leg was two miles longer.  I am pleased with my first year.  I have signed up for three tris next year.  One sprint, one oly and one HIM.  Looking forward to training program starting December 15th.  What have you been up to?

I finished my tri season about a month ago.  My first/only Oly...tougher than I had expected, didn't have nearly the run that I thought.  I was pretty much toast.  But a good race overall, I can't complain.  I've now switched focus (well, focus has been waning, and getting sick in the middle doesn't help) to half marathon training for a December race, and I plan on New Orleans 70.3 in April.  Trying to keep it going...

Good for you man, I start my 70.3 training (Timberman) on December 14th.  Right now I am nursing injuries and getting over a month and a half of pneumonia.  It sucks....not too excited to start training after being out for this long.
